Fine Arts

Faith Baptist School recognizes the fine arts as an important part of a student's educational experience and development.  Art is taken weekly by elementary students and offered as an elective for junior high students.  Music  instruction is offered in every grade from K.E. to Grade 12.  Elementary through high school students participate in band and choir.  Age-appropriate opportunities are provided ranging from 3rd grade recorders to high school honors choir.  Speech classes are available to develop public speaking and drama skills.  The senior class presents a dramatic production with four performances each fall.

Each Spring, students in grades 6-12 participate in the Colorado Association of Christian Schools (CACS) competition.  FBS students compete with students from other Christian schools in Colorado in individual and group academics, music, and speech.
